Making our community a safe and drug-free environment . . . |

|
Originally called the Meth Watch Committee, this group was formed under the leadership of Mike Clark. With overwhelming cooperation from local businesses, members implemented the state’s most successful Meth Watch program in Winnsboro.
The Community Awareness and Activity Committee established a hotline (903.365.6363) where callers may receive information or leave anonymous tips about suspicious activity. The hotline receives more calls than CrimeStoppers, and committee members pass on their findings to local law enforcement for follow-up.
To keep citizens aware of Enough Is Enough’s progress, community rallies have been held over the past two years and will continue to be an important part of EIE. Future plans of this committee include the development of neighborhood watch programs.
If you would like to serve on this committee or as committee chairman please contact Val Maher at 903-342-0455. |
