Making our community a safe and drug-free environment . . . |

|
The Events and Promotions Committee has been activated under the leadership of Sherron White to better organize and promote the various activities that Enough Is Enough is involved with. We have partnered with several local groups that are advancing our mutual goal of a safe and drug-free community. Some of our partnerships are:
A.L.O.N.E (Addicts’ Loved Ones Needing Encouragement) - in conjunction with the Northeast Texas Child Advocacy Center, EIE sponsors ALONE, a support group for family members affected by alcohol or substance abused addiction. Journey to Recovery — providing support to those recovering from addictions, these Christ-centered groups are held at various locations throughout the county. Communities In Schools – providing an after-school educational and mentoring program at Memorial Middle School and a student-led drug prevention club called YADA (Youth Against Drugs and Alcohol) at Winnsboro High School. Graduation Celebration – providing a drug–free and alcohol-free after graduation party in partnership with the senior class and many community sponsors and volunteers. Over 80% of graduates have participated. Morgan’s Mercy Mansion – Wood County’s only drug and alcohol rehabilitation center for women, this program has served over 74 women in its three years’ existence. Morgan’s Mercy Mansion offers a recovery program which includes housing, recovery groups and classes, and life skills training. Visit www.mmmrehab.com for more information.
